Call for papers : “Library Theory and Research” with “Education and Training”

The IFLA Section on Library Theory and Research (LTR) and Section for Education and Training SET) seek papers for an Open Session on the topic “International and Comparative Librarianship: valid, Relevant and Authentic Research and Education”.

This topic has been chosen in accordance ith the main theme of the IFLA conference, “Libraries Now! – Inspiring, Surprising, Empowering.”

Proposals for papers must be submitted by: 10 February 2012

Important announcement: BOBCATSSS 2010

Registration to BOBCATSSS 2010 has started!!! All participants, including the presenters, must register filling in the form (http://www.hlss.mmu.ac.uk/idea/bobcatss/). The amount for students and professionals includes the conference itself, and the social events.

Programme: the full version will be soon available!

We remember to all Presenters that full papers to be included in the proceedings are due on December 20, 2009. Formal invitation letters will be sent after November 22 to whom explicitly ask for them. Please let a couple of days to receive it.
