EUCLID

The Association is an independent Europan non-governmental and non-profit organisation whose purpose is: to promote Europan cooperation within library and information education and research and to provide a body through which it can be represented in matters of European interest.

In pursuance of its objectives the Association shall seek to:

• facilitate exchange of students among the members
• facilitate exchange of staff among members
• encourage mutual recognition of curricula or parts of curricula
• develop co-operation on research projects
• develop co-operation with other international organisations
• exchange mutual information about development in curricula and research
• arrange meetings about the topics of organisation
• encourage support from stronger to weaker members
• represent the membership in relation to European and international bodies
• undertake other activities of interest the Association
• maintain an archive of the Association’s documentation and publish a newsletter
