Membership
Membership and affiliation
Membership of the Association comprises the following categories: Departments or institutions providing education at the tertiary level and undertaking research in the field of library- and information science or information management in countries that are eligible for membership of the Council of Europe.
Affiliate membership is open to research institutions in the field and teaching institusions at the secondary level.
Corresponding membership is open to any other institutions or organisations involved in education and research in the field.
The members are grouped in 3 categories:
Group 1: 20 or more full-time teaching staff
Group 2: 10 - 19 full-time teaching staff
Group 3: less than 10 full-time teaching staff
and the European countries are grouped in 3 categories depending on GNP/inhabitant thus:

The annual for affiliate membership is
Group A : 100 Euro
Group B : 50 Euro
Group C : 33 Euro
The annual for corresponding members is 20 Euro
